Marievic G. Manrique, MD is a practicing anesthesiologist, certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine.
She is offering Medical Acupuncture as a complement to traditional Western medicine in the maintenance of health and the management of various pains and health conditions for which acupuncture has been clinically proven effective.
Dr. Manrique obtained her medical degree (MD) at the University of Santo Tomas Medical School in Manila, Philippines. She then pursued her Anesthesia residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Currently she practices Anesthesiology at the UPMC Jameson and Horizon hospitals.
Dr. Manrique completed her Medical Acupuncture training at the Helms Medical Institute under Dr. Joseph Helms, the pioneer in Medical Acupuncture in the United States. She is a member of the American Association of Medical Acupuncture. In addition, Dr. Manrique has taken courses on Mind-Body Medicine at the Benson Henry Institute.
